Description
TEMEPHOS FACTS
1. Temephos is considered as a safe larvicide (LC50= 8600 mg/l) in vector control programs.
2. World health organization suggested 1ppm of this compound for larviciding in drinking water bodies (1mg/L for human adult)
3. It is effective for 3 months.
4. Laboratory tests on this formulation resulted to 15 weeks residual and larvicidal effect against Aedes aegypti.
1 to 1.5g Moztak per 10 L of all type of water.
Type of water includes:
- Indoor water • Rain water • Drain water • Sewer water • Lake/pond water • Apply every 60 days. • Apply every 30 days in outdoor rainy times.
